March 6,2002 <br /> He recommended tat the CityCouncil adopt proposed resolution no.3, <br /> the fourth option. <br /> President Anderson invited public comment. <br /> The following individuals spoke in support of building the special events <br /> center on site no.5:Frank McCord,5730 Sound Avenue;Kal Leichtman, <br /> 3410 Colby#8;Joe Stan,Flying Pig,2929 Colby Mike Sells,Snohomish <br /> County Labor Council,3214 Grand;Gary Meisner,1906 Colby#18;Jim <br /> Stanford, 1508 Hewitt; Ginger Long.011is, 2929 Hoyt; and Ed <br /> Tdesenbelg,Carpenters Union,2810 Lombard. <br /> The following individuals spoke in opposition to building the special events <br /> center on site no.5:Sharon Nelson,5012 S.3.;Marlys Patmore,6504 <br /> Wetmore;and Patricia Hambrick,3321 Rockefeller. <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Pope to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION—INITIATIVE PETITION/SPECIAI,EVENTS CENTER <br /> Moved by Council Member Pope,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to adopt Resolution No.5167,option no.4,adopting findings, <br /> conclusions and decision determining that the proposed initiative <br /> petition Is Invalid,exceeds the scope of the initiative power and not <br /> refer the invalid ordinance to the County Auditor. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 70 <br />
