• April 3,2002 President Anderson Invited public comment. David Koenig,Planning,gave a brief overview of the proposed changes. Ed Peterson,Executive Director,Housing Hope,slated that the proposed changes will allow Housing Hope to build three four-plexes for low income housing and a 3,000 square foot learning center on the property. Moved by Council Member Pope,seconded by Council Member Overstreet to close the public hearing on agenda items No.5,a proposed ordinance amending the Comprehensive Plan map designation fora portion of the Housing Hope property and No.6,a proposed resolution approving the rezone of the Housing Hope property from R3 to B-2. Roll was wiled with an council members voting yes. Motion carried. COUNCIL BILL NO,02-0311 THIRD AND FINAL READING: • AN ORDINANCE amending the Comprehensive Plan map designation of the Everett Comprehensive Plan fora portion of the Housing Hope property located at 5830 Evergreen Way from 1.3(Single Family,10 to 12 Dwelling per Gross Acre)to 4.4(Mixed Use Commercial Multi Family)as part of the 2001 • annual update to the Comprehensive Plan. Moved by Council Member Pope,seconded by Council Member Hatloe that this is declared lobe the third and final reading of Council Bill No.02- 02-11,and also to adopt the proposed resolution approving the rezone of the Housing Hope property located at 5830 Evergreen Way from R-2 to B- 3 and authorizing the Mayor to execute the development agreement. 102
