• <br /> July 17,2002 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 7:00 <br /> p.m.,July 17,2002,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall. <br /> President Hatloe presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Anderson and Council Members Olson,Hatloe,Gipson,Campbell,Pope <br /> and Overstreet were present. Council Position No.1 is vacaon at this <br /> time. <br /> Council Member Overstreet led the Pledge of Alleglan,x. <br /> The minutes of the July 10..^302 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> PRESIDENT <br /> ANNOUNCEMENT <br /> President Hatlye announced that the seven tinalicts for Council Position <br /> No.1 were interviewed ata special meeting of the City Council at 8:30 <br /> am.,July 17,2002. The council members selected two candidates, <br /> Brenda Stonecipher and Madan Krell,but were unable to break a tie vote. <br /> The council members were given until 5:00 p.m..July 18.2002,to change <br /> their vote. Pursuant to the City Charter,B the council members am <br /> unable to break their be vote,the Mayor will make the appointment. <br /> C NCIL <br /> Council Members Olson,Overstreet and Campbell commented on the <br /> outstanding candidates that applied and were interviewed for the vacant <br /> council position. <br /> Council Member Pope reported on his attendance at the Transportation <br /> Policy Board meeting of the Puget Sound Sub-Regional Council. <br /> 224 <br />
