July 17,2002 <br /> Upon returning from executive session.President Halloo announced it <br /> had been decided that in the case of a deadlock vote the City Council <br /> would Pillow these procedures:council members would be given a <br /> deadline of July 10.2002.5:00 p.m.,to Inform him If they wish to change <br /> their vote.This date was chosen as one council member will be out of <br /> town later In the month. The media will be faxed an ent <br /> stating that there will be a special City Council meeting the morning of July <br /> 20.2002. <br /> City Attorney Soho stated that in the case that the council members could <br /> not come to agreement within a thirty-day period pursuant to the City of <br /> Everett Charter,the mayor may make the appointment. <br /> The City Council proceeded to vote again on the two finalists as follows: <br /> Marian Krell received affirmative votes from Council Members Pope, <br /> Campbell and Hauoe. Brenda Stonecipher received affirmative votes <br /> from Council Members Olson.Gipson and Overstreet resulting in a Mal <br /> tie vote. <br /> The council meeting adloumed et 12:30 p.m. <br /> 223 <br />
