• <br /> March 14,2003 • <br /> PRESIDENT <br /> Vice President Campbell announced that agenda item Nos.7 and 8 will <br /> be pulled from today's agenda. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Assistant City Attorney Jim Iles reported that City Attorney Soine was <br /> chairing a meeting regarding 800 MHz and unable to attend today's City <br /> Council meeting. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Walter Selden,424 Laurel Drive,and on behalf of the Port Gardner <br /> Neighborhood Association, spoke regarding the SBX Test Project <br /> proposal. He requested that the SBX experts be invited back so that <br /> more questions about the project can be answered and that council <br /> mbers lake a stance.He passed out a letter sent to Ms.Julia Eliot <br /> U.S.Army Space and Missile Defense Command.from the Port Gardner <br /> Neighborhood Association in opposition to homeporfng the SBX Test <br /> Band Radar Strvcture at Naval Station Everett. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson to have the Legal Department <br /> draft a resolution regarding the SBX project and bring it back to the <br /> City Council. <br /> Mellon died for lack of second. <br /> Michelle Trautman,816 35.Street,read into the record the letter sent to <br /> Ms.Julia Elliott,U.S.Army Space end Missile Defense Command,from <br /> the Port Gardner Neighborhood Association in opposition to homeporting <br /> the SBX Test Band Radar Structure at Naval Station Everett.The letter <br /> listed various concerns and issues.
