The Perks <br /> Department did a great job. <br /> Yesterday the Snohomish County Public Utilities District held a public <br /> hearing regarding the Bonneville Power Administration's proposed 14% <br /> rate increase.Mayor Anderson spoke in opposition to that nate increase <br /> and will be sending a letter to the BPA to that effect. <br /> Everett was <br /> recognized at the Association of Washington Cities <br /> conference forthe importance Everett has put on diversity in the city <br /> through our workforce statement,race equality day proclamation,diversity <br /> forums and the co-sponsorship Snohomish County study circles. <br /> COUNCI <br /> As the 4.of July will soon be here Council Member Pope asked if there <br /> will be any press releases regarding illegal fireworks in the city.
