Brad CONI,Attomey for the Port of Everett,remarked that the action before the City Council tonight Is to place development limitations on this piece of property.not to grant privileges that go beyond what can be done on the property as it presently exists.He stated that the action is not to make a project specific approval. Ken Taylor,1410 Grand;David Mascarenos,517 Laurel Drive;Dr.Tim Reisenauer.Bob Power,165 NE Juniper Street.Issaquah;Betty Henley, American Boiler Works,1111 1301 Street;Barb Hardman,1232 Grand: Shad Schroeder,American Construction.420 Morgan;Rick Elmore,3003 Federal Avenue 8303 and Harold Payette,Longshoreman's Union,spoke in opposkion to the redevelopment. They expressed concern regarding the tack of green space in the plan.obstruction of views,noise from the boat storage facility,and the loss of jobs due to relocation of existing businesses. Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member Campbell to close the public hearing. Roll was called with all council members voting yea except Council Member Overstreet who was excused.
