November 12,2003 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order et 8:30 <br /> am.,November 12.2003 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Hotoe presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Anderson;Council Members Krell.Olson,Haeoe,Gipson,Campbell, <br /> Pope end Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Campbell lad the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 5,2003 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> President Hallos acknowledged that there were a number of fire fighters <br /> in the audience. <br /> Bob Downey,representing the Everett Firefighters,expressed thanks to <br /> Mayor Anderson on a job well done. <br /> Meyer Anderson expressed that one of the greatest privIleges of his <br /> lifetime was/is being a firefighter. He expressed appreciation for their <br /> support of the city and of the great things that they do. <br /> MAYOR <br /> AWARD PRESENTATION <br /> Mayor Anderson presented awards to Beth Scruggs and Hope Hambridge <br /> of the Motor Vehicle Division for the innovative cost savings reports they <br /> have written and shared nationally. <br /> APPOINTMENT—PFD BOARD <br /> Mayor Anderson read a letter from the Chamber of Commerce,Louise <br /> Stanton Maston,nominating Mark Olson to the Public Facilities District <br /> Board.She stated that he brings skills and experience that would be an <br /> asset to the PFD. • <br /> 383 <br />
