January 28,2004 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Coundl was called to order at 8:30 <br /> am.,January 28,2004,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Ha0ce presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Krell,Olson.Halloo.Campbell, <br /> Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present Council Member Gipson was <br /> excused. <br />• <br /> Council Member Campbell led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 21,2004 City Council retreat and City Council <br /> meeting were approved as printed. <br /> Ron Demiglio,5529 127.Place SE,Snohomish,gave a brief history of <br /> his business,Espresso American. He stated that they had over 800 <br /> transactions during their grand opening at the Everett Public Library. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson reported on his attendance at a public meeting at <br /> Walter E.Hall Golf Course on Saturday where they discussed golf rates. <br /> APPOINTMENT—PUBLIC FACILITIES DISTRICT BOARD <br /> Moved by Coun-il Member Overstreet to concur <br /> ith the <br /> reappointment of Edward D.Hansen to PositionNa.No.2,Public <br /> Facilities District Board,for a four-year term,beginning January 1, <br /> 2004 and ending December 31,2007. <br /> Earl Dutton,Chairman,PFD Board, 1801 Grand;Rich Anderson, <br /> Treasurer,PFD Board,1010 Colby,Roger Neumaier,4806 Seahurst;and <br /> Jim Langus,902 Westminster Circle.spoke in favor of reappointing Ed <br /> Hansen to the PFD Board.They remarked that he has been involved in <br /> the Special Event Caner since its inception and that he has the skills to <br /> help make It a success. <br /> Motion died for lack of second. <br /> 25 <br />
