April 28,2004 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> am.,April 28,2004 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Hake presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson:Council Members Krell,Olson,Harm,Gipson,Campbell, <br /> Stonecipher and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 21,2004 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Council Members Olson and Hagoe abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed the month of May,2004 as"Older <br /> Americans'Month'and the week of May 1014,2004 as'Senior Center <br /> Week"in the City of Everett. <br /> Linda Wright accepted the proclamation on behalf of the Senior Center. <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson also proclaimed April 30,2004 as Ada Haug Day. <br /> Ada Haug accepted the proclamation and was overjoyed. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> REPORT—PUGET SOUND REGION COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Overstreet explained that the Puget Sound Regional <br /> Council is going through a scoping process and will be looking beyond <br /> 2020.He introduced Norm Abbot,Puget Sound Regional Council. �. <br /> • <br /> 133 <br />
