.1111111=1. <br /> June 2,2004 <br /> Council Member Krell announced that the annual Unity Game between <br /> the area high school students and the Everett Pollee Department will be <br /> June 4.and benefit the Special Olympics. <br /> Council Member Overstreet reported that he attended the Combined <br /> Sewer Overflow Board of Directors meeting in Washington D.C. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher reported that she has been involved in the <br /> Everett Public Library strategic planning sessions. <br /> CISCO EQUIPMENT DONATION <br /> President Settee brought forth the following agenda item: <br /> Moved by Council Member Krell,seconded by Council Member Olson <br /> to authorize the Mayor to approve the donation of equipment and <br /> completely free of charge, from Cisco Corporation, <br /> Panasonic Corporation and Northrop Corporation for the <br /> Volkswagen vehicle for use by the Everett Police Department Crime <br /> Prevention officer. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Campbell who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Gordy Lindstrom,8925 West Mall Drive,spoke regarding an adult retail <br /> moratorium. He stated that a judgment has been found in favor of the <br /> City of Spokane.He encouraged the Everett to go forward and reconsider <br /> this issue. <br /> Gary Bovey,2320 Jackson Avenue,urged the council to look at our <br /> Christian heritage with regard to the Ten Commandments. • <br /> 176 <br />
