June 2.2004 <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Krell,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to approve the following consent agenda Items: <br /> RESOLUTION-CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5483 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $972,125.86 for the period May 15,2004 through May 21,2004. <br /> RESOLUTION-PAYROLL <br />• <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5484 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $2,599,080.18 for the period ending May 15,2004. <br /> Roll was <br /> called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> MemberCampbell who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> STREET CLOSURE—POP'N'ARTS FESTIVAL <br /> Moved by Council Member Krell,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to approve the closure of Colby Avenue,Hewitt to <br /> Pacific;Wetmore Avenue,Hewitt to Pacific;and Wall Street from <br /> Hoyt Avenue to Wetmore Avenue;from September 10,2004,7 p.m.to <br /> September 12,8 p.m.for the"Pop'N'Arts Festival sponsored by the <br /> Snohomish Artist Guild,subject to certain conditions. <br /> Dale Preboski,Beyond the Blue.requested that in the future the city not <br /> close major arterials for special events ask impacts businesses. <br /> Cliff Verhoff,Snohomish Artist Guild,brought forth a new and revised <br /> street closure request.He asked that Wetmore be closed from Hevltt to <br /> 177 <br />
