October 8,2004 • <br /> In order to daffy the matter,she offered the following motion: <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher,seconded by Council <br /> Member Olson that the Planning Commission's consideration of the <br /> regulation of adult retail businesses be focused on a regulation that <br /> would:1)apply only to new adult retail businesses rather than those <br /> in existence as of the adoption of the moratorium,and 2)not result <br /> in regulations wherein the adult retail businesses would be <br /> concentrated in any one area of our City. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Krell who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Council Member Olson reported on his attendance at the 12"Annual <br /> Leadership Conference sponsored by the National League of Cities in <br /> Charleston,North Carolina. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attomey Iles requested an executive session regarding a litigator <br /> matter. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Nancy Johnson,1502 Wall,Invited the Mayor and council members to the <br /> Imagine Children's Museum's grand opening ceremonies which will begin <br /> on October 11,2004,11 a.m.tot a.m. <br /> Gordie Lindstrom,8925 West Mall Drive,distributed a handout to the <br /> council members and expressed his concem regarding the City Councils <br /> lack of direction to the Planning Commissbn regarding new regulations <br /> for adult retail businesses. <br /> 314 <br />
