January 12.2005 <br /> Council Member Olson slated that he will not be in attendance at the City <br /> Council cleating on January 19,2005,and requested that agenda item <br /> no.11,the third and final reading of a proposed ordinance creating a <br /> special improvement project entitled"Grand Avenue Park Sustainable <br /> Maintenance Renovation,"be delayed until the January 26,2005 meeting <br /> so that he will be able to padicipate. <br /> Council Member Overstreet remarked that he will not be available to <br /> attend the Martin Luther King,Jr.Celebration. <br /> Council Member Gipson introduced a proposed resolution honoring the <br /> Dr.Martin Luther King,Jr.Celebration Committee. <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> Moved by Council Member Nielsen,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to adopt Resolution No.5575 honoring the Dr.Martin <br /> Luther King,Jr.Celebration Committee for its twenty years of <br /> coordinating the Greater Everett Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. <br /> community celebration. <br /> Carl Gipson,committee member,remarked that all of the council <br /> members,as representatives of the City of Everett,should make hew to <br /> attend the Martin Luther King,Jr.Celebrator at the Second Baptist <br /> Church on Sunday. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Council Memher Nielsen reported on his attendance at the Snohomish <br /> Health District Board meeting. <br /> 11 <br />
