January 26,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> am.,January 26,2005 In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Krell presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson;Council Members Krell,Olson,Hatloe,Nielsen,Stonecipher <br /> and Overstreet were present.Council Member Gipson was excused. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 19,2005 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed.Council Members Olson and Overstreet abstained <br /> from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson stated he was proud of the outstanding work <br /> performed by the various departments:Fire,Police,Public Works end <br /> Utilities,during the fire this past weekend. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Hates reported that on Monday oral interviews were held <br /> by the Consultant Selection Committee for the North Everett Transit <br /> Center project.The committee has recommended Inca Engineering,Inc. <br /> as the preferred consultant for this project. <br /> Moved by Council Member Magma,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to authorize staff to negotiate an agreement with Inca <br /> Engineering,Inc.for the North Everett Transit Center project. <br />• <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Gipson who was excused. <br /> Motion cabled. <br /> 23 <br />
