March 2,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was celled to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,March 2,2005 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Krell presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Krell,Olson,Hattoe,Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present <br /> Council Member Nielsen led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the February 23,2005 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PRESENTATION—1-5 HOV LANE <br /> Dave Davis,Engineering,and Wendy Becker,Parks,gave a brief slide <br /> presentation regarding proposed designs for artwork on the concrete <br /> sound walls related to the new 1-5 HOV Lane project. <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Olson requested that,as pad of the City Council's <br /> deliberation of the issues presented by the upcoming Comp Plan <br /> proposals,they receive copies of the various consultant studies referred <br /> to by Providence Everett Medical Center over the last few months <br /> demonstrating the need for eastward expansion. <br /> He also requested a formal review by the Legal and Planning <br /> Departments in respect to the ten-year history of the interaction between <br /> the hospital and the City of Everett in respect to the proposed eastward <br /> expansion. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher requested that a transcript of the October <br /> 21,1998 City Council meeting related to the public headrg placing the <br /> Donovan Homes on the Historic Register be distributed to the City Council <br /> members prior to deliberation of the proposed project. <br /> 53 <br />
