March 2,2005 <br /> Council Member Overstreet rested that Compass Health is within <br /> $3,00000 of getting the money it needs to reopen Its drop-in center.He <br /> remarked that he would like to sea the City provide those funds. <br /> Mayor Stephenson stated that the City of Everett has provided funding for <br /> Compass Health through its 2005 Human Needs budget.He commented <br /> that adjustments could be made to the Administrative budget if the City <br /> Council wishes to support Compass Health with another$3,000.00. <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher,seconded by Council <br /> Member Overstreet to provide an additional$3,000.00 In funding to <br /> Compass Health to allow them to reopen their drop-in center. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Atlomey Iles requested an executive session regarding a litigation <br /> matter and a real estate matter. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Amy Tapper,5404 S.3.,spoke regarding development of the Lowell <br /> River trail. <br /> Michelle Hoverter,5502 S.2n°,commented on the proposed artwork for <br /> the freeway wall,congestion on surface streets during the upcoming 1-5 <br /> HOV lane construction,and the riverfront development. <br /> 54 <br />
