March 16,2005 <br /> Roll was called on the motion as amended with all council members <br /> voting yes except Council Member Gipson who voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION—RECOMMENDATIONS/EVERETT HISTORICAL <br /> COMMISSION <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to adopt Resolution No.5595 concurring with the <br /> Everett Historical Commission on Providence Everett Medical <br /> Center's request affecting Block 248 of the Donovan District' <br /> 'This motion reflects the inclusion of updated materials. <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Heflin to amend the motion to incorporate the hospital's proposed <br /> language in Section 3,Part A,under"therefore,be it resolved"as <br /> follows: No buildings shall be demolished In Block 248 until after <br /> January 1,2006,"except as provided below."The purpose of this <br /> condition is to give Providence Everett Medical Center time to <br /> "utilize its best efforts to"find a developer and location(s)to move at <br /> least f6 homes(75%)from their present location to an appropriate <br /> relocation site. "Provided,however,if by September 1,2005, <br /> Providence Everett Medical Center has exercised its reasonably best <br /> efforts,in the opinion of the Planning Director,to both find a <br /> developer and location(s)to move the houses it owns in Block 248 <br /> and find an alternate location(s)for parking and construction staging <br /> but has been unsuccessful,to avoid adverse parking impact to the <br /> neighborhood by utilizing Block 248,this condition shall be deemed <br /> satisfied." <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson to amend the language in the • <br /> hospital's proposal by replacing the date"September 1,2005"with <br /> "January f,208". <br /> Motion died for lack of second. <br /> \ <br /> 72 <br />
