March 23,2005 <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher,seconded by Council <br /> Member Olson to amend the resolution to reflect that the maximum <br /> height of structures in this R-5 block will be sixty leen <br /> There was a clarification by Dave Koenig stating that the Historic Overlay <br /> standards have a minimum slope for roofs and as staff works with Mr. <br /> Zlab them may be a need to review the sixty-foot height and come back in <br /> July with a more specific height. <br /> Roll was called on the amendment with all council members voting yes <br /> except Council Member Halloo who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Roll was called on the main motion as amended with all council members <br /> voting yes except Coundl Member Gipson who voted no and Council <br /> Member Bathe who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—LEE REZONE <br /> President Krell opened a public hearing regarding a proposed resolution <br /> to amend the Comprehensive Plan from Multiple Family(1.6)to Mixed <br /> Use Commercial-Multi Family(4.4)end to rezone the property from R-3 <br /> (Mull Family)to C-1(General Commercial). <br /> Bob Lamer,Planning,explained that the site is adjoined by properly also <br /> owned by the applicant.The proposal is to make the area into a parking <br /> lot in support of the commercial use to the north. The Planning <br /> Commission's approval was based on a condition that a site-obscuring <br /> fence be constructed. <br /> Bill Miller,2012 Vemon Road,Lake Stevens,representing the applicant, <br /> stated that them had been a single family residence that has been <br /> demolished under code requirements to the south of three commercial <br /> 87 <br />
