• June 8,2005 The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 m.,June 8,2005 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, President Krell presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Krell,Olson,Hetloe,Gipson,Nielsen, Stonecipher and Overstreet were present. Council Member Overstreet led the Pledge of Allegiance. The minutes of the June 1,2005 Everett City Council meeting were approved as printed. Council Members Hattoe,Stonecipher,and Overstreet abstained from the vote. Council Member Olsen indicated he wished to change his vote to an affirmative vote regarding the adoption of Resolution No.5628 during the June 1,2005 city council meeting.He indicated confusion regarding the new fee schedule and whether annual passes could be used on Fridays. He indicated that he since understands that the annual pass holders (Everett residents)will be able to play on Fridays throughout the rest of 2005 and wishes his negative vote to be changed. President Krell approved the change of Council Member Olson's vote from negative to affirmative. MAYOR PROCLAMATION—BIZ BASH 2005 Mayor Stephenson proclaimed June 15,2005 as"Biz Bash 2005". He encouraged community members to learn more ahout local businesses. Louise Stanton-Masten received the proclamation on behalf of the Everett Area Chamber of Commerce.The Biz Bash will be held June 15th from 4:30 p.m.to 7 p.m.at the Monte Cristo Ballroom. She extended an invitation for all to attend. • The mayor thanked the police and fire departments for their help with the "Unity Games°this year for the benesn of Special Olympics. 163
