• <br /> June 8,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,June 8,2005 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Krell presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Krell,Olson,Hetloe,Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Overstreet led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 1,2005 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Members Hattoe,Stonecipher,and <br /> Overstreet abstained from the vote. <br /> Council Member Olsen indicated he wished to change his vote to an <br /> affirmative vote regarding the adoption of Resolution No.5628 during the <br /> June 1,2005 city council meeting.He indicated confusion regarding the <br /> new fee schedule and whether annual passes could be used on Fridays. <br /> He indicated that he since <br /> understands that the annual pass holders <br /> (Everett residents)will be able to play on Fridays throughout the rest of <br /> 2005 and wishes his negative vote to be changed. <br /> President Krell approved the change of Council Member Olson's vote <br /> from negative to affirmative. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION—BIZ BASH 2005 <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed June 15,2005 as"Biz Bash 2005". He <br /> encouraged community members to learn more ahout local businesses. <br /> Louise Stanton-Masten received the proclamation on behalf of the Everett <br /> Area Chamber of Commerce.The Biz Bash will be held June 15th from <br /> 4:30 p.m.to 7 p.m.at the Monte Cristo Ballroom. She extended an <br /> invitation for all to attend. <br /> • <br /> The mayor thanked the police and fire departments for their help with the <br /> "Unity Games°this year for the benesn of Special Olympics. <br /> 163 <br />
