June 8.2005 <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Overstreet suggested that the council members give <br /> thought as to how on a policy level to address where public project <br /> mediation dollars received by the city will be spent. <br /> Larry Crawford.CM,stated that a committee does meet on a monthly <br /> basis to discuss projects. <br /> Council Member Krell reported that she attended a ceremony at Fire <br /> Station No.1 where the City received a$280,000 grant for new breathing <br /> apparatus. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Robed Heavey,1126 Grand Avenue,end member of the Association for <br /> Responsible North Marina Redevelopment,brought forth concern that the <br /> scope of the project has been enlarged. He requested that the city <br /> confine to the public that an agreement Is an agreement. He favored <br /> redevelopment as long as it stays within the planning commission <br /> resolution of 7115/03 and the city council resolution of 9117/03. <br /> Wayne Sodorquist,Seattle Rodtiques,stated that the Cruising to Colby <br /> was a great success this year and thanked the city.He Indicated there <br /> are a couple of issues that will need to be addressed next year due to an <br /> overwhelming response. <br /> George Young,1607 Oh Street,questioned why golfers weren't surveyed <br /> before hiring a consultant to study the golf course issues. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to approve the following consent items: <br /> 164 <br />
