August 10,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m..August 10,2005 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Krell presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Krell, Olson, Gipson, Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present.Council Member Hatloe was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Overstreet led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the August 3,2005 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. Council Members Gipson and Nielsen abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephanson proclaimed August 13,2005 as"National Marina Day.' <br /> He presented the proclamation to Don Hopkins,Port Commissioner,and <br /> Kim Burke,Marina Director. <br /> VISITORS <br /> Mayor Stephenson recognized Brian Sullivan and Mary Helen Roberts, <br /> State Representatives,21e District,for their support of this community <br /> and their Distct. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> PRESENTATION—LIBRARY OUTREACH SERVICES <br /> Mark Nesse,Library Director,introduced members of the Library staff who <br /> are involved with the Library's outreach program. Teresa Gemmer and <br /> Gloria Holgren gave a slide presentation regarding the Library's outreach <br /> services and invited everyone to come outside and tour the bookmobile. <br /> 259 <br />
