September 14,2005 <br /> that there is still a question as to whether or not the judgment will be <br /> appealed. <br /> Mayor Stephenson reminded everyone that the Mutt Strutt will be held on <br /> Saturday at Thornton A.Sullivan Perk. <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Gipson stated that he attended a 911 Celebration at the <br /> Snohomish County Plaza. <br /> He questioned whether CAA Crawford had hada chance to look into the <br /> costs of moving the Police Department firing range. <br /> CM Crawford stated that the Public Safety Committee requested that the <br /> project be added to the CIP 4 list.The projects on the list will be reviewed <br /> end prioritized after the first of the year. <br /> UPDATE—SOUND TRANSIT <br /> Council Member Olson introduced Sound Transit staff members Joni Earl, <br /> Patrice Hardy.and Matt Sheldon. <br /> Joni Earl,Executive Director,gave an update on Phase 2 of Sound <br /> Transit's long-tern plan for mess transit.She reported that there was a <br /> significant increase in ridership for second quarter,2005 over last year. <br /> She discussed the prlorIty project list for Snohomish County. <br /> President Krell stated Oct she attended a kick-off event for the IS <br /> Improvements project. She also attended the dedication of a Civil War <br /> monument at the Evergreen Cemetery. <br /> President Krell reminded everyone that there will be a special council <br /> meeting Friday at Legion Park with the Tulalip Tribal Council. <br /> 299 <br />
