November 23,2005 <br /> AYES: Krell,Olson,Hellos,Gipson,Nielsen,Stonecipher, <br /> NAYS: Overstreet <br /> Ordinance No.2880-05 adopted. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—ROUTE/SERVICE CHANGES • <br /> President Krell opened a public hearing regarding proposed Everett <br /> Transit fixed route and service changes effective February 12,2006. <br /> Paul Kafanski,Transportation Services,stated that Everett Transit makes <br /> two major service changes a year which are coordinated with Sound <br /> Transit and Community Transit. He remarked that it always includes a <br /> public Involvement component which lasts from four weeks to two months. <br /> Richard Tarry,Transportation Services,discussed the proposed route and <br /> service changes. <br /> President Krell invited public comment. <br /> Ralph"Bud"BaMett,1818 Pacific Avenue.suggested that Bus Route No. <br /> 4 be extended to additional streets in the downtown area and that it stop <br /> at every corner. <br /> Cecile Stenning,411 Priest Point Drive NW,Marysville,stated that she <br /> owns a condo at 4504 Olympic Boulevard.She spoke in apposition to a <br /> proposal to place a bus stop in front of the condominiums. <br /> Moved by Council Member Nielsen,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Meson carried. <br /> l <br /> 396 <br />
