... ........ <br /> March 1,2006 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 5:30 <br /> a.m..March 1,2006,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts.Olson,Hatice,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen.Stonecipher and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes or the February 22,2006 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as pdnted.Council Member Roberts abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATHS <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to concur with the appointments of Ryan Terpening and Kevin <br /> Davis as new police officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carded. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered their oaths of office and Mayor <br /> Stephenson presented them with their badges. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENT <br /> Karen Shaw.Economic Development,announced that the first Oiversity <br /> Business Expo will be held on March 2g.2006 at the Everett Station.It <br /> will allow women and minority enterprises to meet with representatives <br /> from a variety of government entities to learn how to do business with the <br /> govemment. <br /> 50 <br />
