June 28.2006 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> am.,June 28.2006 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> Vice President Olson presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson;Council Members Roberts,Olson,Race,Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> end Overstreet were present Council Member Stonecipher was excused. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 21,2008 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed.Council Members Overstreet,Roberts and Nielsen <br /> abstained from the vote. Council Member Gipson was enroute to the <br /> meeting. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson reported that he attended two events Saturday,a Get <br /> Movin'event at the Everett Mall and Bethany's 75"Anniversary <br /> celebration. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Overstreet congratulated Council Member Olson on <br /> receiving a plaque for his leadership at the Snohomish County Tomorrow <br /> annual meeting. He also reported that he attended the Association of <br /> Washington Cities meeting in Spokane last week which was an excellent <br /> meeting and brought back several ideas. <br /> Council Member Roberts also congratulated Council Member Olson.He <br /> repoattended the <br /> roadway exit <br /> and thanked city gthat he aff for their help dedication <br /> project.He also attended the <br /> Association of Washington Cities meeting and a number of great <br /> Council Member Gipson reminded everyone to yield to fire and police <br /> vehicles and wished everyone a Happy Fourth of July. <br /> 181 <br />
