June 28.2006 <br /> RESOLUTION—HOMELESSNESS IN SNOHOMISH COUNTY <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member <br /> Halloo to adopt Resolution No.5784 expressing support for the <br /> "Everyone At Home Now",a strategy for ending homelessness in <br /> Snohomish County,Washington by 2016. <br /> Jeri Mitchell representing Catholic Community Services,1919 Everett <br /> Avenue,and the steering committee chairperson for the Homeless Policy <br /> Task Force urged support of the plan to end homelessness In ten years. <br /> She stated that all agencies in the county had a role in this plan. <br /> Mayor Stephenson explained that an advantage is being able to get <br /> federal assistance through this act. <br /> Roll was <br /> called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> MemberStonecipher who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT—2060 HOUSING TRUST FUND <br /> Moved by Council Member Nielsen,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to authorize the Mayor to sign the 2060 Housing Trust Fund <br /> Agreement and the necessary documents,as approved <br /> by City <br /> Attorney's Office,to implement the agreement with Housing Hope's <br /> New Century Village LLC for 5280,000.00. <br /> Dave Koenig,Planning,explained the source of the funds. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Stonecipher who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 185 <br />
