July 26,2008 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Meson carried. <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO.0607-34 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE approving recommended changes in the City <br /> Charter to be forwarded to the County Auditor to be placed on <br /> the September 19,2006 ballot <br /> The City Clerk was directed to call the roll for the final disposition of the <br /> ordinance as amended. <br /> AYES: Roberts,Olson,Ha0oe,Gipson,Nielsen,Stonecipher, <br /> Overstreet <br /> NAYS: None <br /> Ordinance No.2924..06 adopted. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> Council President Stonecipher stated that now is the time to begin the <br /> public hearings on the proposed Comprehensive Plan amendments and <br /> related rezones,agenda Earns no.19 through 23.Each agenda Item will <br /> have its own public hearing,discussion and vote. <br /> She stated that his important that the City Council hearings are not only <br /> fair in fact but fair in appearance. She questioned whether any of the <br /> council members had any cord/let of interest with any of the matters <br /> before us. Them was no response.
