September 20,2006 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Coundl was called to order at 8:30 <br /> p.m.,September 20,2006 in the City Council Chamber.of the Everett <br /> City Hall,President Stonecipher presiding.Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Hatloe,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,and Stonecipher were present. Council Members Olson and <br /> Overstreet were excused. <br /> Boy Scout Troop ie led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 13,2006 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson thanked Dale Preboski who has filled in as the City of <br /> Everett Information Officer during Kate Reardon's eh:ince and <br /> announced that Kate will be returning to work tomorrow. <br /> He remarked that he had attended the funeral service for Officer Thomas <br /> of the Brier Police Department. <br /> OATH OF OFFICE <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to concur with the appointments of Tim Harrington and Joe <br /> Klingman as new police officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Olson and Overstreet who were excused. <br /> Moron carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered their oaths of office and Mayor <br /> Stephenson presented them with their badges. <br /> 288 <br />
