November 15,2005 <br /> Donna Kems,2232 81^Street,White Elephant Bar and Grill,expressed <br /> concern regarding a'notice to correct.which she received from the <br /> Planning Department requiring her to remove her portable reader board <br /> sign from the White Elephant property. She stated that Pa her only <br /> means of advedising. <br /> Council Member Gipson questioned whether the City could revisit the sign <br /> ordinance. <br /> Council President Stonecipher suggested that a Council workshop be <br /> scheduled to discuss the sign ordinance. <br /> Kathy Panfili,702 4te Place;and Pete Peters,4214 Federal Avenue, <br /> spoke regarding the Police Departments firing range.They expressed <br /> conrn regarding noise levels and contamination of the surrounding <br /> area Mn.Peters submitted a petition of complaint and action. <br /> Laine Brown,3501 Hoyt,expressed concern regarding the proposed sale <br /> of the Animal Sh.:Iter property. <br /> Gordy Lindstrom,8925 West Mall Drive,spoke regarding management of <br /> the City of Everett's golf courses and restaurants. <br /> Council Member Gipson questioned whether the hours of use at the firing <br /> range could be reduced. <br /> Council Member Olson requested that staff provide council with a <br /> recommendation on the feasibility of restricted hours at the firing range. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to approve the following consent agenda items: <br /> RESOLUTION-CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5832 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> 355 <br />
