March 7.2007 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,March 7,2007 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson, Council Members Olson, Nielsen, Stonecipher and <br /> Overstreet were present.Council Members Roberts,Hatloe,and Gipson <br /> were excused. <br /> Council Member Overstreet led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the February 28,2007 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as pdnted. <br /> MAYOR <br /> WEBER SEAVEY AWARD—EVERETT POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> Derek Phipps,Vice President Northwest Territories,Motorola,presented <br /> the Weber Seavey Award to the Everett Police Department in recognition <br /> of their rental housing and business development crime fighting activities. <br /> He presented the award to Police Chief Scharf and Mayor Stephenson. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Overstreet announced Oral his granddaughter,Maggie, <br /> was elected student body president at Everett High School. <br /> COUNCIL BILL N0.0702-07—MULTIPLE FAMILY HOUSING TAX <br /> PROVISIONS <br /> Moved by Council Member Overstreet,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to reconsider the failed motion of last week relative to the <br /> multiple family housing tax at the March 21,2007 council meeting. <br /> 76 <br />
