March 7,2007 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Roberts,Hatloe and Gipson who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Council Members Nielsen and Olson reported on their attendance ala <br /> conference sponsored by the University of Washington Law School <br /> regarding the economic,governmental and legal consequences of clirnate <br /> change. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Ned Johnston,City Attorney,requested an executive session regarding <br /> coo litigation matters.The session is expected to last approximately 30 <br /> minutes with no anticipated announcement to follow. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Charlene Rawson,823 Charles Avenue,stated that she misspoke <br /> regarding the council's motion to extend the tax abatement at last week's <br /> council meeting.She remarked that she believes that tax incentives ere <br /> an excellent means of offsetting the higher costs bullders will bear in <br /> revitalizing the downtown. <br /> Council President Stonecipher requested that consent agenda item no.3, <br /> to authorize Request for Proposals 2007-019, purchase and <br /> redevelopment of the Allen Buick/Culmback building property,be moved <br /> to an action Item. <br /> CONSENT ITEM <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to approve the following consent items: <br /> 77 <br />
