May 9.2007 <br /> Council President Stonecipher suggested that they continue with the <br /> agenda items and allow time at the end of the meeting. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—COUNCIL BILL NO.070426 <br /> President Stonecipher opened a public hearing regarding Council Bill No. <br /> 070426.a proposed ordinance amending the Zoning Cade concerning <br /> the Board of Adjustment. <br /> Allan Giffen,Planning Director,stated that the Charter amendments <br /> approved by the voters last fall eliminated the Board of Adjustment.The <br /> proposed ordinance would delete that section from the Zoning Code. <br /> President Stonecipher invited public comment.There was no response. <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Gipson to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was celled with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO.0704-26 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Code concerning the <br /> Board of Adjustment,repealing Section 41.140 of Ordinance <br /> No.1671-09,as amended <br /> Moved by Coundl Member Olson,seconded by Council Member Nielsen <br /> that this is declared to be the third and final reading of Council Bill No. <br /> 0704-26 and the City Clerk Is directed to call the roll for the final <br /> disposition of the ordinance. <br /> 161 <br />
