July 25,2007 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m..July 25.2007 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Flail, <br /> President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson;Council Members Roberts.Olson,Hatloe,Gipson.Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher.and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Nielsen led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 18,2007 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed.Council Member Roberts abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson thanked fire fighters.paramedics and police officers <br /> for the services they rendered during a difficult week. Police Officer <br /> Suzanne Eviston is now recovering at Providence Everett Medical Center. <br /> She too expresses her thanks for the outstanding support from all those In <br /> public safety as well as citizens. <br /> OATH-POLICE <br /> Deputy Police Chief Gerry Burke introduced Ryan Hogue,Christopher <br /> Bishop and Butch Rockwell,three new Everett police officers. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to concur with the appointments of Ryan Hogue,Christopher <br /> Bishop and Butch Rockwell as police officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> They were sworn In by the City Clerk and Mayor Stephenson presented <br /> them their badges. <br /> 261 <br />
