He <br /> reported that the neighborhood kids are enjoying k. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Ned Johnston,City Attomey,requested an executive session at the close <br /> of the city council meeting regarding a litigation matter with no <br /> announcement to follow. <br /> CONSENT ITEM <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Hattee to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION-CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5922 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett In the amount of <br /> $1,428,551.09 for the period of July 7,2007 through July 13,2007. <br /> RESOLUTION-PAYROLL <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5023 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount <br /> of 93,239,518.44 for the period ending July 7,2007. <br /> STREET CLOSURE—MART NA MCBRIDE BLOCK PARTY <br /> To approve the closure of Hewitt Avenue,westbound lanes between <br /> Broadway and Lombard,and eastbound lanes between Broadway <br /> and Oakes,for a Martina McBride Block Party on August 4,2007, <br /> 5:30 a.m.to 11:59 p.m.,sponsored by Global Spectrum. <br /> 262 <br />
