re <br /> • <br /> November 14,2007 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8,30 <br /> a.m.,November 14,2007 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson;Council Members Roberts,Olson,Hatloe,Nielsen, <br /> and Stonecipher were present Council Members Gipson and Overstreet <br /> were excused. <br /> Council Member Olsun led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 7,2007 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as panted. <br />• MAYOR <br />• <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed November 14,2007 as'Eliminate Violence <br />• Against Women Day"in the city of Everett and urged residents to support <br />• the fight to advance the status of women we adwide. He presented the <br />• <br /> proclamation to Isbell Jungle representing the',ante Club. <br />• <br /> REPORT—GOLF UPDATE <br />• <br /> Paul Kattanski,Parks Director,gave en update of the city's golf program. <br />• <br /> He concluded by stating!hat the business strategy is working and thanked <br /> the mayor and city council for their support. <br /> Mayor Stephenson reminded everyone that tomorrow is a significant <br /> milestone date in the history of Everett The preferred location for the <br /> University of Washington extension program will be announced and he <br /> theirls optimistic that Everett will be chosen.He thanked everyone for <br /> supped including the community,former Mayor Ed Hansen,Greg <br /> Tisdel,a,.J Jim Langus. <br /> 377 <br />
