March 5,2008 <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Ned Johnston requested an executive session regarding a <br /> personnel matter to last approximately fifteen minutes with an <br /> announcement following. <br /> C8y Attorney Johnston also related to the council members that the city <br /> has received a bid protest regarding the animal shelter project. The <br /> council will need to follow the ordinance with regard to protests and hold a <br /> hearing regarding this matter.This issue will come back before the city <br /> council next week. <br /> Council Member Gipson raised the question if this should be dealt with in <br /> executive session prior to coming back before the city council. <br /> CONSENT ITEM <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Hallos to approve the following consent Item: <br /> RESOLUTION—CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5993 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $4,126,953.70 for the period of February 16,2008 through February <br /> 22,2068. <br /> RESOLUTION-PAYROLL <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5994 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount <br /> of$3,096,599.20 for the period ending February18,2008. <br /> 60 <br />
