May7,2008 <br /> BID CALL—BOND STREET SITE CLEANUP <br /> To authorize a call for bids for the Bond Street Site Cleanup. <br /> Roll was called wkh all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> STREET CLOSURE—CRUIZIN TO COLBY <br /> Moved by Council Member Affholter,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to approve an extension to the closure of Hewitt Avenue <br /> from the east side of Wetmore to the west side of Oakes,and the <br /> addition of Rockefeller from the north side of Wall to the south side <br /> of California for the Cruizin to Colby Car Show on May 26,2008,5 <br /> am.to 6 p.m.,sponsored by Tailgater Jces.Personnel must be on <br /> site and prepared to accommodate emergency vehicrr access in the <br /> event of an emergency. <br /> Council Member Gipson questioned who was sponsoring the event and if <br /> the liability insurance was in order. <br /> Joel Starr,219 E View Ridge Drive,stated that the Seattle Rodtiques is <br /> the car dub that makes up the majority of the commihee that runs the <br /> show and he directs the overall event.The Cm¢in Colby Car Show is a <br /> non profit 501(C3).The insurance policy is in order end has not changed. <br /> PURCHASE—VEHICLE SECURITY CAMERA SYSTEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Halloo to authorize the purchase of vehicle security camera systems <br /> from Apollo Video on King County Contract No.376863 in the <br /> amount of$260,080.71 including Washington State Sales Tax. <br /> 138 <br />
