July 9.2099 <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—2009-2014 SIX-YEAR TRANSPORTATION <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> e President Stonecipher opened the public hearing regarding a <br /> resolution adopting the 2009-2014 Six-Year Transportation Improvement <br /> Program(TIP)for the City of Everest <br /> Brian Jones,Engineering,stated that each year the city is required by <br /> state law to update and adopt Its s&-year Transportation Improvement <br /> Program(TIP).The Trenspodation Advisory Committee and the Planning <br /> Commission have both reWewed the 2009-2014 TIP and recommend its <br /> approval.It is consistent 00th the Citys Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Brian then discussed the projects that are new on the list this year. <br /> Vice President Stonecipher asked for public comment. No one <br /> responded. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Hadoe to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was <br /> called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> MemberNielsen who was excused. <br /> Motion carded. <br /> RESOI UTION—2009-2014 SIX-YEAR TRANSPORTATION <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to adopt Resolution No.6040 adopting the 2009-2014 Six- <br /> Year Transportation Improvement Program(TIP)for the City of <br /> Everett. <br /> Rall was <br /> called with all co ncil members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Nielsen who was excused. <br /> Meson carried. <br /> 215 <br />
