July 23,2008 <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO.0807-28 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 1 and 4 of Ordinance No. <br /> 1671-89,as amended(EMC Title 19,Zoning),and establishing <br /> a new Mobilehome Parc Overlay Zone <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member Atfholter <br /> that this is the third and final reading of Council Bill No.0807-28. <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher,seconded by Council <br /> Member Affholter to amend verbiage in the proposed ordinance as <br /> presented by Planning staff. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Roberts and Hatloe who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Council Member Olson stated that this proposal doesn't go far enough. <br /> The incentives are not there to do what the City hopes will be done. <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Gipson to table this item for two weeks until we can get a report <br /> back from the city attorney's office with respect to the availability of <br /> a tax abatement or some such program to provide Incentive for <br /> mobile home park owners to conga.t to this new zone. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Stonecipher,ABhotter and Nielsen who voted no and Council <br /> Members Roberts and Hatton who were excused. <br /> Motion faiied. <br /> 234 <br />
