July 30,2008 <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Hatloe to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION-CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.8044 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett In the amount of <br /> $1,761,506.98 for the period July 12,2008 through July 18,2008. <br /> STREET CLOSURE—BLOCK PARTY <br /> This item receding the closure of Carson Road between Cabot and <br /> Morgan for a Block Party/Nigh Out Against Crime on August 5,2008,was <br /> - pulled from the agenda. <br /> Roll was celled with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Nielsen and Afiholter who were excused. <br /> Motion carded. <br /> AGREEMENT—EVERETT POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to authorize the Mayor to sign the labor agreement between <br /> the City of Everett and the Everett Police Officers Association,EPOA, <br /> for the term 2008-2010. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Nielsen and ABholter who were excused. <br /> MoBon carried. <br /> Tim Chin,Vice President of the EPOA,thanked Mayor Stephenson and <br /> the City Council for their consideration and approval of the contract. <br /> 241 <br />
