With regard to notification and the inconsistency of data <br /> regarding sex offenders,starting November there will be a new real time <br /> updated centralized website. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Annie Lyman,929 Hoyt Avenue.voiced that ad hoc committees do work. <br /> She also questioned how citizens can gel answers to questions regarding <br /> canissues.She related that when attending public hearings citizens <br /> speak and often don't get answers to their questions. <br /> President Nielsen explained that these are quasijudicial Issues. He <br /> suggested that the city attorneys office can address any questions. <br /> Barbara Lamoureux, 1027 Rucker,asked for clarification regarding <br /> procedures relative to a third reading of an ordinance after a long public <br /> testimony period and if the item had to be acted upon immediately.She <br /> also asked when is the time for citizens to have their questions answered. <br /> CONSENT ITEM <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Hatloe to approve the following consent item: <br /> RESOLUTION—CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.6045 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $1,901,089.75 for the period of July 19,2008 through July 25,2008. <br /> Roll was council called with all members voting yes except Council <br /> MemberRoberts who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 251 <br />
