September 3.2008 <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION-CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.6053 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $1,606,707.96 for the period August 16,2008 through August 22, <br /> 2008. <br /> STREET CLOSURE—ASB FUN RUN <br /> To approve the closure of the parking stalls on both sides of Beverly <br /> Lane,Evergreen Middle School to View Ridge Elementary School,for <br /> n ASB Fund Run on September 27,2006,8 em.to 11 am., <br /> sponsored by the Everett Public Schools with the condition that <br /> personnel be on site and prepared to accommodate emergency <br /> vehicle access in the event of an emergency,and that volunteers be <br /> stationed at the bus stop to signal bus drivers to stop for bus riders <br /> and to open the parking/transit lane when a passenger needing the <br /> lift is waning. <br /> Roll was called 00 all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Nielsen and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION—SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Afiholler to adopt Resolution No.6054 waiving public bidding <br /> requirements and approving the sole source purchase of one <br /> Headworks Mahr Bar Screen from Treatment Equipment Company. <br /> 257 <br />
