September 10.2008 <br /> RESOLUTION—ELECTRIC BUS <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member <br /> Affholter to adopt Resolution No.6058 in support of funding for <br /> developing a small,lightweight hybrid electric or electric bus. <br /> Roll was <br /> celled with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> MemberGipson who wes excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AMENDMENT—HOMELAND SECURITY <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded <br /> onded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment C to the Home <br /> Land Security contract amending the contract award for the <br /> purchase of portable shelter equipment and public outreach <br /> brochures for distribution throughout Snohomish County for an <br /> additional amount of$20,000.00. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Gipson who was excused. <br /> Motion carded. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Council Member Robeds expressed thanks to Congressman Dicks <br /> regarding the 787 bidding process being moved to 2009. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Alice Lodger,VFW Post 2100 Auxiliary President,reminded everyone <br /> that gage should be flown at half-staff until noon on Patriot Day and that it <br /> is important to remember those who have died for our freedom. <br /> 307 <br />
