November 5,2008 <br /> AGREEMENT—ENGINEERING REPORT/WATER POLLUTION <br /> CONTROL FACILITY <br /> Moved by Council Member Hatloe,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to authorize the Mayor to sign a professional services <br /> agreement with Carollo Engineers for an engineering report for the <br /> Water Pollution Control Facility for an amount not to exceed <br /> $206.270.00. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION—HUMAN NEEDS FUNDS <br /> Moved by Council Member Hatloe,seconded by Council Member <br /> Affholter to concur with the recommendation of the Human Needs <br /> Advisory Committee and adopt Resolution No.6077 authorizing the <br /> expenditure of Human Needs Funds in the amount of$306,900.00 to <br /> various organizations as designated. <br /> Council Member Olson requested clarification regarding the funding <br /> amounts end the organizations'requests. <br /> Debra Bryant and Lanie McMullin clarified that the committee's goal was <br /> to meet the basic needs of the various organizations.City Attomey Iles <br /> pointed out that the requests have been combined and Council Member <br /> Stonecipher stated that the agencies often submit multiple requests.The <br /> Human Needs Committee decided to bundle their requests. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 372 <br />
