November 19,2008 <br /> Roll was <br /> called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> memberGipson who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT-SEWER SYSTEM FLOW MONITORING SERVICES <br /> Moved by Council Member Hallos seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to authorize the Mayor to sign a professional services <br /> agreement with SFE Global for Sewer System Flow Monitoring <br /> Services in 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 In the amount of$289,875.00. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Gipson who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> UI=ELIC HEARING-COUNCIL BILL NO.0810-53 <br /> Council President Nielsen opened a public hearing regarding Council Bill <br /> No.0810-63,a proposed ordinance amending Ordinance No.1671-89,as <br /> emended(Title 19 EMC),establishing an"H"Historic Overlay Zone for the <br /> Riverside Neighborhood,and modifying certain zoning standards therein. <br /> Jan Menton,Planning,gave a brief background on the proposed Riverside <br /> Historic Overlay Zone. She stated that this would be the third overlay <br /> zone in the Cly joining the Rucker/Grand and Norton/Grand overlays. <br /> The boundaries for this overlay(Alternative 1)are from California north to <br /> 19.on Virginia and Baker Avenues,the south side of 19n,Victor, <br /> Leonard and the north side of 21.Street from Baker east to Walnut. <br /> Alternative 2 was formulated in response to public comments which <br /> proposed that the southern boundary be moved from California to Everett <br /> Avenue.The Planning Commission recommends approval of Alternative <br /> 2.She spoke regarding the guidelines,standards and financial effects of <br /> the proposed overlay. <br /> 390 <br />
