November 19,2008 <br /> Glenn Hunter, 2518 Baker, Riverside Neighborhood Association, <br /> introduced end commended Steve Fox from the a ciation who <br /> Inventoried over 450 homes in the proposed overlay area.Mr.Hunter <br /> discussed the advantages of a historlc overlay and spoke regarding some <br /> of the historic homeowners from the area. <br /> President Nielsen invited public comment. <br /> Steve Fox,2510 Baker;Gem McCurry-Hunter,2518 Baker;Edward <br /> Dawson,2521 Baker;Jack O'Donnell,3329 Grand;Jeff O'Donnell,2405 <br /> Virginia;Bob Creamer,2618 Baker;Tom Eiden,2414 Baker,and Barb <br /> Hardman,Rucker/Grand overlay;spoke in support of the proposed <br /> overlay. <br /> Diane Raines,2011 Virginia,spoke In opposition to the proposed historic <br /> overlay due to the increased cost of remodeling the homes. <br /> Council President Nielsen remarked that council has been provided some <br /> substantial material including the record that was before the Planning <br /> Commission which includes a petition in support and a number of letters <br /> and emails. Two letters,one from Diane Raines and one from Vicki <br /> Rosenau,and an email home citizen at 1g'"and Baker were received this <br /> week that are part of the record. <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member <br /> Aff hotter to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was <br /> called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Gipson who was excused. <br /> Motion carded. <br /> 391 <br />
