November 26,2008 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,November 26,2008,In the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall,President Nielsen presiding. Upon roll call It was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts.Olson,Hadoe,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen.Stonecipher and Affhclter were present <br /> The minutes of the November 19.2008 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed.Council Member Gipson abstained from the vote. <br /> Council Member Hattie led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> MAYOR <br /> GIFT TO CITY—BERNIE WEBBER PAINTINGS <br /> Carol Thomas.Cultural Arts.explained that Steve Saunders has gilled to <br /> the city four Bernie Webber watercolor paintings. <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to adopt Resolution No.6084 declaring the City's intent <br /> to accept a gik of four Bernie Webber watercolor paintings to be <br /> added to the City's art collection for public display and enjoyment <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr.Saunders explained that the paintings were originally displayed at the <br /> Cascade Club and am scenes from the windows of the Cascade Club <br /> depicting the history of Everett <br /> Mayor Stephenson and the city council members expressed their thanks <br /> for the gift to the city. <br /> 396 <br />
