December 10,2008 <br /> The regular meeting(tithe Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> am.,December 10,2008,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall,President Nielsen presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Olson.Hatloe,Gipson. <br /> Nielsen.and Stonecipher were present.Council Member Attholter was <br /> excused. <br /> The minutes of the December 3.2008 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT—LIBRARY BOARD <br /> Mayor Stephenson requested the city council's concurrence regarding the <br /> appointment of Roy Yates to the Library Board. <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member <br /> Hatloe to concur with the appointment of Roy Yates to Position No. <br /> 4,Library Board,for a five.year term beginning January 1,2008 and <br /> ending December 31,2013. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Affholter who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> REPORT—CRIME STATISTICS <br /> 11 Police Chief stated that this report was important as a follow up to a <br /> recent newspaper article. He introduced Deputy Chief Lineberry who <br /> gave a presentation regarding crime statistics. <br /> 414 <br />
