December 10,2008 <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO.0811-58 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE adopting the budget for the city of Everett for <br /> the year 2009 <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher seconded by Council Member <br /> Gipson that this is declared to be the third and final reading of Council Bill <br /> No.0811-58. <br /> Debra Bryant,CAA/CFO,stated that in light of the present soft economy <br /> we cautiously optimistic that we can meet our overall revenue <br /> expectations but not as certain about the sales tax as an individual line <br /> item. Some other areas can be used to compensate for the sales tax <br /> downfall.
